A LIFE OF SERVICE
Ash Harmon is a Master Peace Officer with more than two decades of service in both county and municipal government. He has filled a number of leadership roles including Sergeant Deputy Constable with Collin County Constable's Office, Precinct 1 (McKinney/Allen/Anna/Melissa), Patrol Sergeant with the Fannin County Sheriff's Office, and Chief of Police for the City of Josephine. Ash also serves as a training officer and police instructor having spent many years as an adjunct instructor with Collin College Law Enforcement Academy, Eastfield College Criminal Justice Training Center (now Dallas College), and the Texas Justice Court Training Center. He holds numerous law enforcement certifications including a Civil Process Proficiency certificate, the highest level of state-issued certification in civil process.

Conservative Values
Ash has spent his life in North Texas and was raised with small-town values. He has been a life-long Republican with a desire to serve his country and community. He maintains that government should be limited and exists at the consent of the people. Besides being fiscally conservative, he belives in the traditional values regarding family, faith, life, and liberty that Texans hold dear.
Public Safety
As Grayson County grows, public safety needs will increase. By 2030, the Van Alstyne area is projected to grow more than 300%. Your public officials should all be planning measures to address the population increase and its impact on government. Ash will work to expand the current office to accommodate growth while continuing to provide law enforcement services without overextending budgetary constraints.
Core Functions
Core functions of a Texas Constable include serving court documents, evictions, executing writs, conducting Constable sales, serving warrants, enforcing criminal and traffic laws, and providing court security for the Justice of the Peace. Ash will ensure that these core functions are performed, that the taxpayers are provided with the expected services, and maintain transparency in doing so.
